چکیده
The release of Cu into water is an immediate concern that negatively affects environmental health. To eliminate this problem, the adsorption Cu(II) on varying substances has been studied widely for two decades. utilization low-cost adsorbents obtained from industrial wastes hits targets with one arrow. In present study, ferrochrome ash (FCA) baghouse filters facilities was utilized to adsorb first time in literature. achieve goal, initially FCA characterized by XRD, XRF, SEM, EDS, and BET analyses, then washing grinding pretreatment conducted Cr dissolution increase surface area FCA. Adsorption experiments were 100–1000 mg/L solution 0.4–8 g/L 0–300 min. As a result, it concluded maximum capacity as 298.75 mg/g, which makes applicable adsorbent adsorption. Additionally, pH range 3–6 favorable. fits pseudo-second order (PSO) kinetics Freundlich isotherm models well. Cu(II)-adsorbed investigated FT-IR analyses. According results, can be deduced mechanism chemisorption, involves valency forces between metal adsorbent.

Removal of Pb(II) and Cu(II) Ions from Aqueous Solutions by Cadmium Sulfide Nanoparticles
In this study, cadmium sulfide nanoparticles (CdS NPs) were prepared, characterized and used as a new adsorbent for simultaneous removal of Pb(II) and Cu(II) ions from aqueous solutions. Using a batch adsorption method, the effects of solution pH, contact time, adsorbent dose, and temperature were studied and optimized. Removal efficiencies, higher than 98% were obtained for both the met...
